Seeds Community Center Featured on AZPM’s “Arizona Illustrated”

It can be difficult to capture the complex reality of kinship care.

But local television show “Arizona Illustrated” offers a personal look at what kinship care is, the joys and challenges encountered by caregivers, and how Seeds Community Center supports kinship families who don’t have access to the same resources as other foster care families. That’s despite the fact that kinship care accounts for 45% of all foster care placements in Arizona.

In this news feature, you’ll hear from kinship caregivers and Seeds Community Center Executive Director Christe LePeau on why kinship care is so important to our communities and what we’re doing to help.
