A Record-Setting Day for Seeds Community Center

Seeds Community Center has big dreams for serving Tucson kinship families, and it’s clear our supporters do, too.

During our 2023 Arizona Gives Day fundraising campaign, donors gave $9,749 to Seeds Community Center, making it the single most successful fundraiser in our organization’s history!

As a bonus, for the third consecutive year we had more donors than any other nonprofit our size during our “power hour,” which earned us an additional $1,000 from Arizona Gives Day, bringing our grand total to $10,749. That’s 53% more than our $7,000 goal and more than double our total from last year’s event!

We’re incredibly grateful to each and every donor, and we’d like to say a special thank you to the MyersStrickland law firm for being the lead sponsor in the matching gift challenge portion of our fundraiser.

With the donations received during the 2023 Arizona Gives Day, Seeds Community Center will be able to provide services to even more kinship families in Southern Arizona. We’re particularly excited to now be able to offer more Enrichment Matters Scholarships to help kinship caregivers cover the cost of extracurricular activities like sports, dance, and music.

As one of our donors put it, “I believe kinship families need our help.” Thank you to everyone who is joining us in doing just that.
